It is being reported that Cowboys top corner back Orlando Scandrick has been assaulted by ex-fiancée Draya Michele. Michele reportedly threw lit candles and pepper sprayed Scandrick, Scandrick has reported he has been the victim of domestic violence attacks since April 21st 2015.
In another incident on July 3rd Michele threw a porcelain jewlery holder and books at Scandrick, she also allegedly threatened to throw bleach in eyes. She has also ruined a number of Scandrick's clothing and personal items. Scandrick has successfully filed a restraining order against his Michele which orders her to stay 100 yards away from the Cowboy's starter.
The court has taken it so far as to remove Michele from the home that Scandrick and her share for Scandrick's safety. Both parties are expected back to court at the end of the July. Scandrick has called the proposal to Michele a "poor decision" one he hopes to rectify later this month. Cowboy's media websites have lauded the cornerback for making the sound decision and going the legal route instead of defending himself.
