The NBA trade market has some notable players that could move this year, as DeMarcus Cousins, Ty Lawson, Nick Young, Jrue Holiday, Brendan Haywood, Jamal Crawford and Brandon Jennings have all been mentioned in trade reports this summer and teams like the LA Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons could be interested in making deals.
Ty Lawson is generating trade interest on the market for the Denver Nuggets, as Pro Basketball Talk reports that team is looking to move the point guard after his latest DUI. According to Chris Mannix at Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Lakers, Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets are interested in Lawson and could look at making a trade. DeMarcus Cousins has been mentioned in trade rumors all offseason and while a deal with the Sacramento Kings is looking unlikely now, the Lakers and Celtics could be eventual landing spots if a deal happens.
The Kings front office is not looking to trade Cousins, but head coach George Karl was reportedly pushing for a deal earlier in the offseason. Adrian Wojnarowski at Yahoo Sports reported that the Lakers and the Kings "discussed a framework" for the deal, but the sides did not come close on making a trade. According to the Sacramento Bee, Jason Jones reports that a trade for Cousins "remains on the table" for the Kings if things go south this season. The Kings have signed Marco Belinelli, Caron Butler, Rajon Rondo and Omri Casspi, but if the team struggles trades could happen with cousins or Rudy Gay.

Nick Young reportedly has been shopped by the Lakers this offseason after the team signed Lou Williams, but the team has not found any takers for a deal yet. According to Bill Oram of the Orange County Register, the market has not materialized for a trade yet and the Lakers currently "have no plans" to deal Young. The Lakers were interested in clearing some cap space with Roy Hibbert, Brandon Bass and Williams coming in, but the team could not find a deal for Young, who is relatively cheap at $5 million this season.
Young could have been a potential option for the Los Angeles Lakers, as the team is reportedly interested in Brendan Haywood and his unguaranteed contract. The Cavaliers were reportedly looking into trades with Jamal Crawford and Joe Johnson, but those have not yet happened and if the team continues to shop Haywood, the Lakers could be a fit. According to Sam Amico at Fox Sports, the Cavaliers want to use Haywood's contract as a trade chip
Moving Haywood eventually could help the team sign Tristan Thompson and the Cavs are also interested in bringing back Matthew Dellavedova. Right now things are not close with Dellavedova, as the Cavs are looking at a huge tax bill and he could be a casualty of that. Haywood has generated interest from the Lakers, Suns and Clippers this offseason and the Cavs still could trade him, as his contract does not become guaranteed for a couple more weeks. Jamal Crawford is another player that could be traded, as the Clippers have added Josh Smith and Paul Pierce this summer.
