The 2-2 Pittsburgh Steelers will visit the 1-4 Tennessee Titans for the first game of Week 6.
The Steelers are fresh off a Week 5, 16-14 victory over their state rivals, (this sounds more like a college game) Philadelphia Eagles that went down to the wire, bringing the black and yellow gang to .500. They won it on a field goal late in the game.
Although the Steeler crew has been injured throughout the early season, even if they go in to the game with guys like Troy Polamalu out (calf injury), who went down on Sunday, the game should still be in their favor simply because they have a more organized team than the Titans.
The Titans are in disarray now the Chris Johnson cannot perform to his usual 1,000 yards rushing level. With Jake Locker at the helm, in his first season as the everyday quarterback, the Titans offense has yet to take off the ground consistently.
As many problems as the team is having on offense, their true struggles lie on defense as they have allowed the most points in the NFL at 36.2 per game.
Though the Steelers do not pose a threatening offense, there is no doubt that Roethlisberger will be able to pick apart these Titan defenders. Not only that, but the Steelers' defense is ready for whatever Locker throws their way as they are the third best passing defense in the league allowing just under 185 yards through the air per game.
Without a doubt, the Steelers learned their lesson as they dropped their Week 3 matchup to the Oakland Raiders, but I can't see them dropping another game to another mediocre team.
On the ground, if the Titans want to stubbornly give the lackluster Johnson the ball, then the Steelers will make the best of it.
Score Prediction: Steelers will win 27-20.
My predictions record so far this season is at 26-12.
