The Golden State Warriors are off to a hot start in the NBA Preseason. Even though it is just preseason, it is a good sign for the club as they went through heavy changes before the conclusion of last season.
Tonight, the Warriors play versus Maccabi Haifa, a basketball club that will travel all the way from Israel for the exhibition game taking place in Oakland, California.
The NBA continues to expose international talents. The Miami Heat played against the Los Angeles Clippers in China and many NBA teams have played against foreign clubs.
Now, focusing on tonight.
The Warriors will have their new group of players attempting to familiarize themselves with each other as the team has added new faces, beginning with their first round draft pick, Harrison Barnes.
They took Barnes seventh overall in the 2012 draft.
With players like David Lee and Stephen Curry as a foundation, the Warriors added veterans like Richard Jefferson, Andrew Bogut, Jarret Jack and Carl Landry.
The Warriors are 2-0. They recently defeated the Utah Jazz 83-30 on Monday.
Barnes finished with nine points in the game. Lee had 19 to lead the team in scoring and Brandon Rush dropped 14 points in the victory.
