The Detroit Tigers will face the Oakland Athletics in Game 5 of this series. There will be no tomorrow for either club. It is win or go home for both teams.

The A's have the momentum going in to this game as they bounced back from an 0-2 deficit to tie the series.
Yesterday, with the noose around their necks, they fought back against the Tigers' closer Jose Valverde in the bottom of the ninth. They fought so hard that Valverde could not even record an out before the A's tied the game at three.
Right before he escapd, Coco Crisp made sure to complete the comeback victory with a shot to right field.
Pitching Matchup
Advantage Tigers in the pitching department. Justin Verlander brought is A game in his first start of the ALDS. He got the Tigers their first win of the playoffs and erased any thoughts about not being a dominant playoff pitcher.
On the mound for the A's will be Jarrod Parker, who started Game 1 against Verlander. He went 6.2 innings allowing just two earned runs though giving up three in total.
