Italy will look to take control of Group B as they travel to face Armenia for their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Italy will be without Mario Balotelli due to a fever according to the team's website.
Balotelli had been included in the starting lineup that coach Cesare Prandelli announced Thursday. He will be replaced by Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco, who will pair with Roma's Pablo Osvaldo.
Balotelli was absent from Italy's 2-2 draw in Bulgaria and 2-0 defeat of Moldova after undergoing eye surgery in September and his mentality has previously been questioned by Prandelli.
"It upset me that he had the operation while there were international games, but I still decided to call him up as he has talent," Prandelli told Football Italia.
As for Armenia they'll be without a few of their players that have temper issues.
They've also got to deal with the loss of captain Sargis Hovsepyan, who has retired from international football at age 39, after 131 caps. But coach Vardan Minasyan has assured the fans that Artur Sarkisov, scorer of the only goal thus far in qualifying, has recovered from injury and is available. The Armenians also look to Henrikh Mkhitaryan, current top scorer in the Ukrainian Premier League.
