First round pick for the Chicago Bears Kevin White will spend his first training camp on the PUP list. White's injury has been described as minor however they are serious enough about it to keep him quiet before the season begins. White is a rookie and is said to want to participate in training camp right away however the medical staff want no part in having their first round pick injured for a large portion of the season.
There is no specific date when White will return so keeping him in football shape will be a challenge. The training staff must make sure White does not lose a ton of stamina while he is on the sidelines. It is safe to assume from a fantasy football perspective that Alshon Jeffery will get the dominant amount of targets in the opening weeks of the season and White may not even need to be drafted.
White was essentially battling for the 4th wide receiver spot in the depth chart and with this injury White will just be replaced by Marquess Wilson or Eddie Royal. White may play week 1 but there is no guarantee that he will be 100 percent.
