The Indiana Pacers host the Minnesota Timberwolves in their second game of the NBA preseason.
Coincidentially, it is also both teams' second matchup of the year as they faced off on Wednesday in their first preseason games of the year.
The Timberwolves defeated the Pacers 84-70 on Wednesday as their offense enjoyed double digit scoring from four of their players.
Nikola Pekovic, the second-year center from Montenegro, dropped 14 points in the 27 minutes of action he received in the game. Tying him for the team high was Chase Budinger.
Kevin Love, the star of the team, had 12 points and just eight rebounds in his 27 minutes of action.
The Timberwolves are going to compete against tough teams in the Western Conference, but they have a Andre Kirilenko, Brandon Roy and Jose Barea, who if healthy, can boost the team and provide backup for Love.
The Pacers on the other hand are simply prepping for a season where they are expected to perform at a high level. They came close of defeating the 2011-2012 champion Miami Heat in the second round of the playoffs.
Paul George had the game-high in scoring as he dropped 16 points on the Timberwolves in just 22 minutes played.
They resigned George, Roy Hibbert and added D.J. Augustin during the offseason.
The Pacers will be a team to watch for.
Tipoff for this Pacers vs. Timberwolves will be at 7 p.m. ET.
