Who else but Rex Ryan could appreciate the actions of IK Enemkpali former New York Jets linebacker who was released by the team on Tuesday for punching Geno Smith and breaking his jaw.
The Bills don't really have a need for depth at the linebacker position but how can anyone deem this as anything but Rex Ryan posturing to his former team. Ryan did draft Enemkpali in the sixth round during the 2014 NFL draft. Enemkpali is also not free from punishment from the league or the law.
If Geno Smith wants to press charges he can, also the league can get involved and fine or suspend Enemkpali for violence in the workplace. It is unknown at this time how Rex Ryan will use his new linebacker but maybe it will provide some motivation for EJ Manuel, Matt Cassel, and Tyrod Taylor to play better, I mean I would not want Enemkpali mad at me that's for sure.
There is no guarantee that Enemkpali will make the team however could you imagine the spectacle week 10 would be when the Bills take on the Jets? Geno Smith vs Enemkpali, Rex Ryan vs The Jet's organization, the entertainment factor is off the charts.
