The NY Giants have some solid fantasy football draft options for this season and players like Odell Beckham, Victor Cruz, Rashad Jennings, Rueben Randle, Shane Vereen, Larry Donnell and Eli Manning could be strong performers in 2015.
The Giants offense was one of the best in the NFL during the second half of the season and now Eli Manning will try and pick up where the team left off. Ben McAdoo took over as offensive coordinator last year and it took the team some time to learn the system. Manning should be even more comfortable in the second year of McAdoo and he is coming in after having one of the best seasons of his career.
The RB situation should be better this year for the Giants after the addition of Shane Vereen, but it likely will come down to the offensive line and whether they can stay healthy. Last season Andre Williams stepped up when Rashad Jennings was injured and now the Giants are three deep at running back. Jennings is coming in as the starter and Williams is listed as the number two ahead of Vereen on the first depth chart.
The WR position is deep if Cruz can stay healthy, as Odell Beckham has emerged as a star and Randle has the potential to be a great number three. OBJ has to find a way to follow up his stellar rookie season and the best thing he could do it simply stay healthy and play his game. Beckham found some major exposure after his amazing catch against yet Cowboys at MetLife Stadium, but let's not forget to point out that the catch came in another loss for the Giants.
With Beckham coming in for year two and Cruz returning from a knee injury, the Giants could have some major depth at wide receiver with Randle coming in with 71 catches last season. Cruz is at his best when he can play off of a number one and now the Giants have that again in Beckham, but Cruz had a serious knee injury and it's no guarantee he will be the same player.
Manning is hoping that he can have Beckham and Cruz on the field at the same time, as the two were only on the field for 60 snaps together last season. Manning needed to have a comeback season last year after throwing 27 interceptions in 2013, as that put his future in New York in question, at least for a few months. Larry Donnell is another player to watch, as he had a breakout season with 63 catches for 623 yards and six touchdowns.
