1. How will Marcus Mariota perform?
Marcus Mariota has been flawless in camp but does that say more about Mariota or the Tennessee Titans defense? Now Mariota can live up to the hype but facing a defense that is not made up of his teammates should bring some perspective on his game and how he will respond in the NFL. Mariota has a couple of weapons at his disposal but it will be great to see how potent he can make the Titan's offense.
2. Can the Falcons rushing game come together?
Devonta Freeman will need to prove he can handle the workload of an every down back while Tevin Coleman will be pushing for the starting job. Freeman will have to fend off the rookie throughout the preseason. Last season Freeman showed flashes of potential but never consistently put together productive performances; he will need to do that this year for the Falcons to be successful.
3. Will the Falcons line be able to protect better?
The Falcons allowed 31 sacks last year which disrupted the offense heavily. In Jake Matthews's sophomore year can he become a better blocker? The offensive line will dictate just how strong the Falcon's offense can be this season.
4. Which WR for the Titans will be Mariota's go-to target?
Mariota will have his choice of some talented young wide receivers. Harry Douglas, Kendall Wright, Justin Hunter, Hakeem Nicks, and Dorial Green-Beckham can all become Mariota's security blanket. Currently the front runner is Kendall Wright, who has been having an amazing camp; can he bring the chemistry he has with Mariota and bring it to the field?
5. Can Vic Beasley be a difference maker for the Falcon's defense?
Vic Beasley is slated to be a difference maker for the Falcons. As a first round pick he must be productive and a cornerstone piece of this offense from day one. Seeing how he plays with Justin Durant and other free agents on the Falcon's defense will be necessary to gauge just how far the Falcons will be able to go this season.
