1. How will Tyler Lockett play?
Tyler Lockett has impressed the Seahawks coaches in training camp with his explosiveness and route running. Lockett is one of the new weapons for Russell Wilson along with Jimmy Graham. Lockett is a third round draft pick who should be fighting for a spot with the starters this season.
2. How will Kam Chancellor's replacement perform?
The Seahawks are using a committee to replace Chancellor at this point in preseason. Keenan Lambert, DeShawn Shead, and Dion Bailey are all the leading candidates to replace Chancellor while he holds out for a pay raise. Not one of these players even comes close to the talent Chancellor possesses.
3. What role will Jimmy Graham have?
Graham is one of the biggest offensive weapons in the NFL. The Seahawks are predominantly a run heavy team however Graham will make a big difference in the play action game. Teams will now have to account for the presence of an aerial weapon on a team that already dominates the line of scrimmages. Graham will most likely be used as a standard tight end that will do a lot of blocking but he can get open anytime he wants to.
4. How will the Seahawks line react to losing Max Unger?
Max Unger was the staple of this offensive line, so with him gone the running game should change slightly. Unger also managed to keep Wilson safe for a couple of seasons the Seahawks could have a hard time replacing his production.
5. How will Brock Osweiler perform?
Osweiler will be Manning's heir to the throne whenever he decides to retire so it will be interesting to see how he handles himself in a game situation. All throughout camp Osweiler has been dominating the Bronco's defense now we can see if those skills translate when he is competing against another team. Osweiler will have the first crack at replacing Manning so the Bronco's future for now is tied to him.
