The Barclays English Premier League Standings has Manchester City leading the EPL table over Leicester City, Manchester United, Everton, Swansea City, Crystal Palace and Liverpool, while teams like Chelsea and Arsenal are looking to push back after Week 2 of play is in the books.
Man City comes out of the week in the lead on the Premier League table, as the team has two wins and six points to rest on top. The team has as many points as Leicester after they got two wins as well, but Man City has not conceded a goal and they remain in the first position. Manchester United is right there with six points as well, but they have just two goals scored this season in two wins, but Louis Van Gaal will take that for now.
Everton is in the fourth position and they come in with one win and one draw so far this season and four points. Swansea City also has four points this season and they are coming in ahead of a big group in the middle as, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Norwich City, Aston Villa and Arsenal all have three points to start the season. Arsenal is off to a slow start and they are at position 11 as things stand heading into next week.
The early part of the season takes time for teams to start separating themselves and clubs like Chelsea and Tottenham will be looking to turn it around quickly. Chelsea won the title last season and they have started with a win and a draw and they have just one point to start. Tottenham is in the same position and some other teams down on the table include Watford, Stoke City, Newcastle United, Southampton, West Brom, Bournemouth and Sunderland.
The scores for Week 2 saw Man United win over Aston Villa, while Everton took down Southampton and Watford finished in a draw with West Brom. Tottenham had a draw with Stoke City, while Swansea City won over Newcastle. West Ham lost to Leicester City, while Arsenal won over Crystal Palace. Man City win 3-0 over Chelsea, while Liverpool finished with a win against Bournemouth.
