Fantasy Football Sleepers and Surprises: CJ Anderson, Terrance West, Tevin Coleman, Melvin Gordon, TJ Yeldon, Andre Ellington Draft Options

The 2015 fantasy football season is about to start and with fantasy drafts ramping up, some sleepers and surprise players to watch for include CJ Anderson, Latavius Murray, Joseph Randle, Tevin Coleman, Terrance West, TJ Yeldon, CJ Spiller, Amari Cooper, Eli Manning, Alfred Blue, Ameer Abdullah, Darren Sproles, Nelson Agholor and Robert Woods.

The fantasy season should have a number of sleeper players having big years at running back and names like Coleman, Anderson and Murray should be consistent options. The Broncos found a solid starter last season in Anderson, who overtook Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman while they were dealing with injuries. Anderson is expected to start and so is Murray for the Raiders and he could be a very solid option in front of Trent Richardson for fantasy owners.

Terrance West is not getting as much attention as he did last season for the Browns, but he could be a solid option for fantasy owners. Isaiah Crowell is looking like he will be the starter and Duke Johnson has been overshadowing West a bit, but owners could get a big pay off if things play out right. West may slip in drafts and if Crowell deals with injury issues again, West could be the player that benefits the most.

Andre Ellington is expected to be the number one running back in Arizona, while Tevin Coleman, Melvin Gordon and TJ Yeldon are three rookies to watch. Yeldon could be the feature back in Jacksonville, while Gordon is almost guaranteed to start off as the number one back on the depth chart. The Falcons may have Devonta Freeman ahead of Coleman, but he is a worthy investment, as the team has not run the ball well in the past few years and could give the rookie a real chance to make an impact.

Some other names to keep an eye on in drafts include CJ Spiller, Amari Cooper, Eli Manning, Alfred Blue, Ameer Abdullah, Darren Sproles, Nelson Agholor and Robert Woods. Manning could have a big season in year 2 of the Ben McAdoo offense for the Giants, while Alfred Blue likely will start in place of Arian Foster for the Texans. Darren Sproles is a PPR league sleeper, as he is expected to lineup at WR for the Eagles in certain sets for Chip Kelly.

Speaking of Sproles, CJ Spiller is likely taking over that role with the Saints two years after Sproles was moved and he could have a resurgent season after being injured last year. Amari Cooper is going to be very good for the Raiders, while Nelson Agholor could start as a rookie for the Eagles ahead of Riley Cooper and Josh Huff.

The Bills may not have great answers at quarterback, but the team still could put up solid numbers on offense and that makes Woods, Harvin, Sammy Watkins and Charles Clay good picks. Watkins has been dealing with a hip issue since last season and if he gets hurt again, Woods and Percy Harvin will be the main options in Buffalo. The Bills offense will run the ball quite a bit with LeSean McCoy and Fred Jackson and that could open up the passing game, even for quarterbacks like Tyrod Taylor, EJ Manuel or Matt Cassel.
