The Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs are playing live on the NFL preseason Week 2 schedule on Friday night and the game from Arrowhead Stadium is on from the NFL Network starting at 8 pm ET and has Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles ready to start the season.

The Seahawks and Chiefs both have playoff aspirations this season and Seattle could once again be the favorites in the NFC with the moves they have made. The team added Jimmy Graham to the mix in a trade and he likely will be the top red zone target for Russell Wilson. Wilson signed a contract extension this offseason and so did Bobby Wagner and now the Seahawks have a couple important players locked up for the future.

The team reportedly is looking into Evan Mathis, but no deal has been struck yet and he will visit the team as a free agent. The Seahawks had to trade Max Unger in the Graham deal and they lost James Carpenter in free agency and they could still look at upgrading the offensive line. Marshawn Lynch is expected to have another big season and with Graham coming to the offense along with rookie Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks could be even better this season. Wilson has established himself as one of the most efficient players in the league and last season he set a career high in rushing yards and he could continue that trend this season.

The Seahawks have rookie Frank Clark coming in on defense and the main story in camp among the secondary is that Kam Chancellor is holding out. Earl Thomas is dealing with a shoulder injury, but the team is expecting to have him back in time for Week 1 of the season. The Seahawks offense likely will have some of the starters play in this game, but it's likely that it will be another short night for the first team unit.

The Seahawks come into the game after a loss against the Broncos in the opening preseason game and that matchups aw some impressive performances from rookies Lockett and Clark. Both players are looking to contribute this season and if they continue to play well, they could be in the rotation in their respective positions. Wilson said he is not stuck on the final drive for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl that saw the Patriots get an interception and that he is excited to get the season started.

Eric Berry played a bit for the Chiefs last week and that was nice to see and the team won over the Cardinals to open things up. The Chiefs played Chase Daniel at QB for most of the game and he was solid with three TD passes, while Fred Williams was the top receiver for Kansas City. The team expects big things on offense this season with Jeremy Maclin coming in on offense after signing as a free agent.
