Mississippi State hosts Middle Tennessee in their Week 8 matchup. The Bulldogs come into the matchup ranked #12 in the FBS and are a handful of teams who are undefeated.

The Bulldogs are 6-0, cruising to victories against, most noticibly, Auburn, Tennessee and Kentucky.

This game is important to win as Miss St. will go against three ranked opponents in Alabama #1, Texas A&M #18 and LSU #6 following this week of football.

Their strength is 33rd in the FBS averaging 35.3 points a game and their defense is even better allowing just 16.3 points a game good for 15th in the rankings.

They face a 4-2 Mid Tennessee team that plays in the Sun Belt. They are a balanced team not possessing any real strengths. They average about 240 yards through the air, 195 rushing yards, 33 points a game and give up around 27.2 points a game.
