The Boston Celtics go head to head with the New York Knicks in their NBA preseason matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The action will take place in the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. as Madison Square Garden continues to go through its remodeling process.
The Knicks are 2-1 so far in the preseason and, if it can be considered a good sign, have not been booed the way their New York rival, Brooklyn Nets fans jeered teir team for poor preseason play.
So far in these exhbition games, Carmelo Anthony is running the offense averaging just a bit over 21 points a game. He dropped 24 points in the Knicks' loss to the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
The Knicks dropped that match 107-88.
The 2-4 Celtics will look to avenge their 98-95 loss to the Knicks last Saturday.
Rajon Rondo looks to continue leading his new look Celtics. THey acquired Leandro Barbosa this past week, adding him to their bench.
Guard Jason Terry, their biggest offseason acquisition, has averaged just over nine points a game in the preseason. He went 5-5 against the Nets from three-point range.
With Barbosa now added to the bench, the Celtics will be lethal from three-point range. Mix Barbosa's 38 percent three-point percentage with Paul Pierce and Terry's ability to knock down the three and you have yourself a great three-point shooting team.
It will be Barbosa's first game in a Celtics uniform.
