The quarterback position should not be worried about in the early rounds of a fantasy draft unless you are targeting Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck. For the most part it is safe to wait for a quarterback for the middle rounds especially if you are in an 8-12 team league. These are the best quarterbacks fantasy football has to offer in 2015.
Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers): Aaron Rodgers has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks of the last few years. Rodgers has had a long list of targets however his list has been shortened this year by the loss of Jordy Nelson. Nelson was Rodgers most reliable passing weapon, now Randall Cobb will take that role. Rodgers will still have a ton of points and most likely by the end of the season we will have a new Packers wide receiver we are talking about but Luck may edge him out in points.
Andrew Luck (Indianapolis Colts): Andrew Luck will become the highest scoring fantasy quarterback and he has all of the tools to do it. The Colts added a reliable running back in Frank Gore, the veteran Andre Johnson, and the newly drafted rookie in Phillip Dorsett. Luck was only second to Aaron Rodgers in 2014 and will likely take over as the main quarterback to draft with all of these newly acquired weapons.
Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys): Romo has been a solid fantasy quarterback for most of his career. It's rare that you find a player who has so much value yet can bring so much to your team. Skipping drafting quarterbacks early is a must unless it's one of the two guys above. Taking Romo in the mid rounds while stacking your team with high powered running backs and wide receivers is a must on the quest for the championship; look for Romo to pass the ball more frequently this season with the loss of DeMarco Murray.
Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers): Big Ben will be hindered earlier on in the season with the suspensions of Martavis Bryant and Le'Veon Bell and the injury of Maurkice Pouncey. Not only will his line be unstable to begin the season but he will be without one of his main red zone targets.
