Danny Woodhead (San Diego Chargers): Woodhead will be on the field for all of the passing downs which should give him some pretty good value. The Chargers hoped Melvin Gordon could prove he was an every down back however he has not done that up to this point. Gordon struggles blocking on passing downs which keeps him off the field. Woodhead can block and catch the ball out of the backfield very effectively and should see the field on third downs.
Branden Oliver (San Diego Chargers): Gordon is absolutely the guy the Chargers want running the ball but he is a rookie who has a very soft running style. Oliver is San Diego's version of Frank Gore, a big, bruising back with a lot of power. Oliver should be the change of pace back which should get him on the field in enough red zone and goal line situations to make him fantasy relevant.
Darren McFadden (Dallas Cowboys): McFadden (for now) is on the second rung of carries for the Dallas Cowboys. Joseph Randle will get 15 and McFadden will get 10-12. McFadden has already shown some burst and his ability to be injury prone this offseason but drafting him late could give you the potential lead running back in Dallas. McFadden should get all of the goal line work as well.
Giovani Bernard (Cincinnati Bengals): Giovanni Bernard was once a fantasy darling and then Jeremy Hill came along and spoiled his fun. Now Gio only will see the field on passing downs but this should keep him healthier in the long run. Gio has great hands and a nose for the end zone he should be around late in fantasy drafts.
TJ Yeldon (Jacksonville Jaguars): Yeldon is the rookie set to take over the Jaguars running game. Yeldon however has some competition with Dennard Robinson and a few other Jaguars running backs. Yeldon has not been on the field long enough to establish himself as the dominant back, however this is why he will fall in the draft. The Jaguars line is terrible but Yeldon is clearly the best back on the team, he is worth a late round pick.
