Spartak Moscow host Benfica in the first game of the day for the UEFA Champions League at 12:00 p.m. ET.
Without starting goalkeeper Andriy Dykan in net, Spartak have lost their last three consecutive matches in all competitions. They're coming off a road loss to Russian Premier League leaders Anzhi Makhachkala.
Spartak are hoping that Dykan, who has been recovering from a shoulder injury, can play on Tuesday. Backup goalkeeper Sergei Pesyakov recently sustained a fractured metatarsal, so they'll have a bit of a goalkeeper crisis if Dykan can't play.
Meanwhile, Benfica have almost a fully fit list of players to choose from.
With Luisao not playing due to his continuing ban, Jardel will continue at the back with Ezequiel Garay. In midfield Nemanja Matic will supply the robustness as Aimar, Gaitan and Carlos Martins try to provide the ammunition for Oscar Cardozo to fire home.
