The Miami Heat prepare for their last road game of the preseason as they set to take on the Charlotte Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The Heat come into the game after a 104-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, giving Miami their third win of the preseason.
Reigning NBA MVP LeBron James sat out in the matchup against the Spurs. Stepping up in James' absence was Rashard Lewis, who had a team-high 15 points.
Their opponent will be the Charlotte Bobcats, who had the worst record in the NBA last season, have dropped their last four games after winning their first preseason game.
Bobcats power forward Byron Mullens was held out of contact drills at practice Monday because of continued swelling in his right knee.
The team doesn't consider the injury serious, but it's unclear whether Mullens will be cleared to play in the exhibition against the Heat. Mullens has been the Bobcats' second-leading scorer this preseason at 15.8 points and started the first four exhibitions.
A season ago, Miami beat Charlotte in all three regular season games they played.
