New Orleans Saints Rumors: Brandon Coleman, Brandin Cooks Fantasy Sleepers For Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Mark Ingram, CJ Spiller Best Starters

The New Orleans Saints are looking to have a high powered offense once again and Drew Brees has some great fantasy football options for owners, including sleepers Brandon Coleman and Brandin Cooks along with starters Marques Colston and Mark Ingram.

The team brought back Mark Ingram in the offseason and added CJ Spiller to the mix and that should give Brees a solid running game. The Saints have not had a great rushing attack over the past couple years and any extra production is only a plus for Brees. The team has to make up for the trade of Jimmy Graham and players like Ben Watson and Josh Hill will be tasked with that tough job.

Brees comes in after putting up another great season stats wise, but overall the Saints struggled and with Brees getting older, the window for the team could be closing. Brees has not missed a game since back in 2009 and he is one of the most consistent fantasy football players in the league. Brees threw for 4952 yards and 33 touchdowns last season, but he also had 17 interceptions and he will be looking to cut down on that this year.

Brandon Coleman is a name to watch for fantasy owners, as he looked like he will be slotted in as the second or third wide receiver alongside Brandin Cooks and Colston. The Saints have high expectations for Coleman, who was signed as an undrafted free agent, as he has speed and size at 6'6, 225-pounds and could really help open things up in the passing game. Neworleanssaints.com reported during the preseason that Coleman and Brees have a "great comfort level" and that could help Coleman have a productive season.

Brandin Cooks played in 10 games last season and dealt with an injury and the Saints expect him to come back strong this year. Cooks had 53 catches for 550 yards and three touchdowns last season and his speed makes him a deep threat weapon for the Saints. Cooks is basically the number one receiver now and he could end up with better numbers than Colston. Brees and Cooks had good chemistry last season, but Cooks saw his season cut short with an injury.

Colston played in 16 games last season and had 59 catches for 902 yards and five touchdowns and he has been a fairly consistent player over the past few years. Colston's numbers have gone down, but he is still a dependable player. Mark Ingram and CJ Spiller are the best RB options for the Saints over Khiry Robinson, as those two will likely be the lead backs if they stay healthy. Spiller could take over as the Darren Sproles type for Brees and in PPR leagues he could be a great draft pick.
