Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant (Wide Receiver): Bryant will look to have another monster game against the Giants. In 2014 some of his best games came against the Gmen and he will look to continue that trend. Regardless if the Cowboys run less Bryant will be the main target for Tony Romo. Bryant will also be itching to play after not playing a single preseason snap. Dez Bryant is an absolute must start against this depleted Giants secondary.
Terrance Williams (Wide Receiver): Terrance Williams will be the number guy in the Dallas offense and should come away with a nice game. With Dallas throwing more Williams should be the next target down the field. In his last preseason game Williams had 1 reception for a 60 yard touchdown, he is an explosive player and the matchup is mouthwatering. Williams will be on track for a bigger role after taking the number one wide receiver position while Dez was not in camp.
Jason Witten (Tight End): Witten should see his usual share of targets down the middle of the field as Giants linebackers will struggle to cover one of the best tight ends in all of football. Witten always puts up some numbers on the Gmen so expect him to be a solid start in WK 1.
Joseph Randle (Running back): Randle will get the first chance at replacing DeMarco and should have a field day with this porous defensive line. Without JPP or depth at linebacker it will be tough to stop the Dallas rushing attack regardless of who is toting the rock.
Darren McFadden/ Lance Dunbar (Running Back): McFadden should get some goal line looks while Dunbar should be more of a passing option. They will be shaky starts until the running game can be assessed.
Dallas Defense: This defense might be the most improved aspect of this team. The main goal of the Cowboys this offseason was to be able to get pressure on the quarterback. Here we are week one and their defensive line has them looking like a completely different team. Expect Dallas to exploit and expose this Giants defensive line.
New York Giants
Odell Beckham JR (Wide Receiver): If you drafted ODB he has to be a must start for the majority of the season however he will be keyed in on until Victor Cruz makes his return so temper expectations accordingly.
Rueben Randle (Wide Receiver): Randle will take Cruz's place in the offense. Randle is nowhere near the playmaker Cruz is and a lot of Morris Claiborne. Randle will have one of his better games while Cruz is out however he should still not be relied upon for a huge game.
Preston Parker (Wide Receiver): Parker will be the third wide receiver in this offense and will see a lot of Orlando Scandrick's replacement Tyler Patmon. Patmon sticks to receivers like glue and can jam a player at the line of scrimmage. Parker is a boom or bust WR3 this week.
Rashad Jennings/ Andre Williams/ Shane Vereen (Running back): The running back situation in New York is awful and should be avoided at all costs. The Dallas defensive line is a lot better than it was in 2014 and will be able to plug up most of the rushing holes.
