Floyd Mayweather stayed undefeated for his boxing career following his victory over Andre Berto in Las Vegas on Saturday night, improving to 49-0 with the win in the welterweight world title matchup.

Mayweather came into the fight after his win over Manny Pacquiao and he won over Berto with a dominating performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. After the fight Mayweather said that his career likely would be over, which would leave him without a major blemish on his record in his two decade run. Berto is now 30-4 in his career following the fight.

The scorecard for the match was 117-111, 118-110 and 120-108 in favor of Mayweather and there was not much doubt that he would win the fight. Mayweather started off aggressive and he took advantage of some lapses from Berto early on. Mayweather continues to say that his career is over, but many in the industry expect him to continue things, as he could sign a new deal for a fight after finishing a six-match deal.

"My career's over. It's official." said Mayweather in his interview after the fight.
