The Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings will meet for the second time this preseason as both teams travel to the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego for each team's final exhibition game of the season at 10:00 p.m. ET.
After losing 97-91 to their locker room rivals the Clippers on Wednesday night, the Lakers will try to finish the preseason without going winless as they set to take on the Kings.
The Lakers are 0-7 this preseason, making this their worst preseason in franchise history.
Their All-Star-like starting five of Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace have only taken the floor just once this preseason, last Sunday against the Kings.
Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant is expected to miss Thursday's matchup as he continues to tend to his strained right foot, and Howard will be a game time decision.
Their opponent, the Kings have a had a very productive preseason with a 4-2 record.
They'll enter the game fresh off a 103-88 loss, however, to the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night.
Head coach Keith Smart has yet to settle on a starting five for the season, but has used different lineups in each of the team's six preseason matches. Only third-year center DeMarcus Cousins has started in all six games.
So far this preseason Cousins leads his team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.2 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.
