The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs are playing a divisional game on Thursday night football and the game is live from Arrowhead Stadium. The AFC West matchup could be big down the line and the game starts up at 8:25 pm ET on CBS/NFL Network and has Peyton manning taking on Alex Smith in the game.
Manning comes in after having a down game, but the Broncos won over the Ravens in Week 1 and now the team has a short week into this game. The Chiefs won impressively over the Texans and now they are looking to start 2-0. These teams were in the playoffs last season and now the Chiefs have the chance to try and knock off the Broncos early on. Manning was a bit funky last week and reports had him dealing with a back issue, but he said that he is fine.
Aqib Talib had a TD in the game and the Denver defense played lights out and won over the Ravens. Brandon McManus had four field goals in the game and the team was able to gut out the victory at 19-13 and now they take on the Chiefs. Manning did not throw a TD and now he will try and get back into a rhythm against the Chiefs.
The Broncos come in with the Lions next on the schedule after this and then the team has games on the road against the Raiders and the Browns. The team has a huge game with the Packers and then Peyton returns to Indianapolis after that. The Chiefs come in after the win over Houston and they next play the Packers, Bengals, Bears and Vikings in a row and then the team has the Steelers and Lions.
