Both the Houston Rockets and the Orlando Magic wrap up their preseason schedule Friday as Orlando will host the matchup beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Houston has heated up in its past two games, putting up wins over the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Hornets in their last two preseason contests.
Houston's head coach Kevin McHale has made many roster adjustments throughout the preseason and is expected to do the same as he searches for a starting five with the season opener rapidly approaching.
All focus for the Rockets will continue to be on point guard Jeremy Lin.
Lin, who made headlines last season with the New York Knicks, was the Rockets biggest acquisition this summer.
So far this preseason, Lin has improved with his passing and stayed away from costly unnecessary turnovers, but his shooting percentage has fallen to 21.1% from the field. Though stats don't really tell the whole story, Houston will look for Lin to be more productive offensively before the start of the season.
After their game against the Magic, the Rockets will get their first game of the regular season against the Detroit Pistons on Halloween night. They'll open play at home against the Portland Trailblazers on Nov. 3.
