Fantasy Football Preview Week 2: New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts, Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, Chris Ivory, Andre Johnson, Donte Moncrief, TY Hilton, Frank Gore

New York Jets

Brandon Marshall/Eric Decker (Wide Receivers): Marshall finished the game as the Jets number 1 receiver reeling in 6 catches out of 9 targets which was a team high. He gained 62 yards and a touchdown close to the red zone. Decker only managed 3 targets out of the slot and caught 2 of them. Decker ended up with 37 yards and a touchdown. Marshall is a WR2 and Decker is a flex play in week 2.

Chris Ivory (Running Back): Ivory had a solid showing in week 1 finishing with 20 carries for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ivory owner's excitement came to a halt this week when he injured his groin in practice and has been limited in ever since. Ivory plays on Monday so that should give him some extra time to rest but still a concerning situation. Ivory is a RB1 versus the Colts defense.

Indianapolis Colts

Andre Johnson/Donte Moncrief/TY Hilton (Wide Receiver): Johnson was relatively invisible in his opening game with the colts finishing 4/10 from the field for only 24 yards. The Colts were in trouble all game however this is not a great sign that Johnson struggled so mightily. Hilton was forced from the game after injuring his knee and remains a 50/50 chance to play on Monday night. Moncrief went 6/11 from the field and had 46 yards and a touchdown. Moncrief immediately filled in for Hilton and jumped Phillip Dorsett in the same game. He should have a big game coming up if Hilton does not play.

Frank Gore/Josh Robinson (Running Back): Gore and Robinson were a collective disappointment and this week should not be any better. Robinson fumbled, while only having 4 carries for 11 yards, and Gore had 8 carries for 31 yards however was pulled from the game for a series for calf cramps. Neither running back is recommended going up against a Jets defense that decimated the Browns running backs a week ago.

Andrew Luck (Quarterback): Luck had a rough game but finished with 20 fantasy points. That is the hard part to swallow; when you drafted Luck you believed he would at least get you 30 a game; however his offensive line is way worse than previously assumed. Luck should struggle again this week going up against a high pressure defense.

Dwayne Allen/Coby Fleener (Tight End): Allen outshined Fleener for the starting role most likely. Allen finished the game going 3/6 from the field for 17 yards and a touchdown while Fleener had 1 catch for 5 yards and a 2 point conversion. Not exactly points that jump off of the page but Allen should be a solid TE2.
