Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski had a historic performance against Wolfsburg on Tuesday, as the Polish star scored five goals in nine minutes after entering the game as a substitute.

Lewandowski came into the Bundesliga match as a substitute in the second half and he made his impact felt on the pitch, scoring five goals in quick succession. Lewandowski scored his first goal with a left footed shot just a few minutes after coming into the game and he added another a minute later. Lewandowski scored at 51', 52' and 55' to get a hat trick and he added two more goals at the 57' minute mark and then again at '60 for the fifth goal.

"It was crazy," Lewandowski said to reporters, according to ESPN.com. "I just wanted to shoot and wasn't thinking about what happened afterwards."

The 27-year-old came in for Juan Bernat in the second half and he ended up setting a record for the fastest time to score five goals in the history of the German league. Bayern won the match 5-1 and the team was down 1-0 when Lewandowski scored his first goal.
