Game 3 of the World Series is just minutes from first pitch between the San Francisco Giants vs. Detroit Tigers.
There will be cold in Detroit and there will be thousands of fans rooting for the Tigers to get back into the series.
The question is, will the Tigers show up and win a game?
They have only scored two runs in this series and they only managed two hits against the Giants in Game 2.
They Giants' bats were cold, but the Tigers could not take advantage of the dominant pitching performance of Doug Fister, who was recently said to be officially okay after taking a line drive of the top his head.
The Tigers will have Anibal Sanchez on the mound for them.
A career 3.75 pitcher in the regular season, Sanchez, in two starts has a 1.35 ERA and been a magnificent addition to Tigers who traded for him in the deadline.
He will have the tough task of slowing down a Giants lineup that has outscored their opponents 30-4.
It is a team that has everything clicking for them and used some luck on the way to their two victories.
Gregor Blanco somehow sent a ball fair down the third base line and the night before the third base bag played a role in the game as Angel Pagan bounced a grounder that would have been, somewhat, routine for Miguel Cabrera.
Call it luck or whatever you want, but the Giants have put the ball in play and have come through in big times with timely hitting.
