Tottenham currently sit in fifth place with 14 points, but are coming off a rough week in both the EPL and the Europa League.
Last Saturday, they were defeated by Chelsea 4-2 and, to make matters worse, only drew 1-1 against Slovenian champions Maribor in the Europa League on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Southampton have been dubbed "Europe's Most Exciting Team" by some based on the number of goals scored in their matches. An average Southampton match features 4.62 goals per match, one of the highest rates in the major European leagues.
Southampton are currently sit in 18th place and are coming off of a 4-1 defeat at the hands of West Ham last Saturday, but they have taken four points from their last four matches, including their only win of the season over Aston Villa in late September.
