Cincinnati Bengals

AJ Green (Wide Receiver): Green has not had a lot of yardage lately and this is likely because of the Bengals rushing attack as well as Tyler Eifert's emergence into fantasy stardom, however Green is still a red zone threat. Last week he had a touchdown and I know that is not comforting for owners who expect big numbers out of their second round pick. The matchup this week against the Ravens is a good one, the Ravens cornerbacks are not shut down players by any means so Green will get his chances.

Tyler Eifert (Tight End): Eifert is a red zone hawk and Andy Dalton's safety valve. He seems to has a nose for the end zone this year and if he can stay healthy he should continue this good performance.

Andy Dalton (Quarterback): Dalton looked awful in preseason; however he has been next to perfect over these last 2 games. Now Dalton faces a pretty heavy pass rush with Baltimore's defense but they are without Terrell Suggs so that threat is gone. Dalton and the Bengals are looking to surprise a Ravens team that just does not have the weapons right now to compete with the Bengals offensive firepower. Dalton is a low tier QB1.

Jeremy Hill/Giovani Bernard (Running Back): Jeremy Hill was benched last week after fumbling twice, Giovani Bernard was the beneficiary of this and he made up for it with 123 yards on the ground. Since Marvin Lewis took over the Bengals he has said he wanted a thunder and lightning style of attack. This is what he means, if one back is hot you keep him in and right now that's Gio. Hill will get the start again but if his fumbling issues reoccur it could be trouble. Bernard is a great flex play and on a week were so many running backs are already dinged up he could be a great RB2.

Baltimore Ravens

Steve Smith SR/Kamar Aiken (Wide Receivers): Smith turned back the clock last week looking like a younger version of himself but that was seemingly the theme amongst wide receivers (Larry Fitzgerald). Aiken picked up the number 2 work and with Breshad Perriman looking like his first NFL action will come in mid-October Aiken could cement himself as the number 2 wide receiver in this offense for the rest of the season. Smith is a low tier WR2 and Aiken is a desperate flex play.

Justin Forsett/Lorenzo Taliaferro (Running Backs): Taliaferro is the unquestioned goal line back in this Ravens offense however he has not practice due to a foot injury. Taliaferro will likely be doubtful for week 3 and Buck Allen will back up Justin Forsett. Forsett owners have been frustrated with his lack of production compared to last year. The Ravens offense is vastly different without defenses having to plan for a Torrey Smith, even if he didn't deliver, Flacco could still open up rushing lanes by going deep to Smith. Now that's gone and with a depleted passing attack defenses are keying in on Forsett. This week will be no exception Forsett is a low tier RB1.

Crocket Gillmore (Tight End): Gillmore broke out last week becoming the best red zone passing threat the Ravens have. He is Flacco's number 2 target and can find some holes in this Bengal's secondary. He is a low tier TE 1 for this week.
