Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck (Quarterback): Luck was a great quarterback for the last two seasons however this season he has seemed a bit off. The Colts as a whole have seemed pretty odd. They did not improve their struggling defense and that has cost them early on this season. The biggest surprise comes from the lack of offensive potency, all offseason they were pegged as one of the best offensive teams. Luck has struggled to connect with any receiver for the exception of Donte Moncrief last game. Now he faces a porous Titans defense that should provide him a chance to redeem himself to fantasy owners. If Luck struggles against the Titans, something would be truly wrong in Indy.
TY Hilton/Donte Moncrief/Andre Johnson (Wide Receivers): TY Hilton played in the Monday night battle against the Jets and looked clearly banged up. Moncrief got the majority of targets and was a fantasy highlight and Johnson struggled again to live up to expectations. The Colts wide receivers are all under the mercy of Andrew Luck and the Colts offensive line. Moncrief is the highest ranked player with Hilton still being injured; Moncrief is a strong flex start and possible WR2 if he goes off again. Hilton is also a flex start but because of his status be weary, and Johnson should be replaced with a more productive wide receiver.
Frank Gore (Running Back): Gore has done nothing to instill confidence in fantasy owners. He is struggling mightily especially with his offensive not helping him in the slightest. Gore should not struggle against this Titans defense but it would not surprise anyone if he did.
Tennessee Titans
Marcus Mariota (Quarterback): Mariota is working with a very bad offensive line but he has a very quick release which should enable him to get the ball away without having to bad of a day. Mariota stood tall against Cleveland but obviously this is a bigger offensive challenge. Mariota will need to out shoot Luck which may not be a problem if Luck continues to struggle against pressure. Mariota is a low tier QB1 this week.
Kendall Wright (Wide Receiver): Wright was nonexistent in last week's game and so is the life of a Titans receiver. Wright should be a solid flex play but that is about all, this is only Mariota's 3rd game in the NFL so figuring out who he still has the most chemistry with still remains a mystery.
Bishop Sankey/Dexter McCluster (Running Back): Sankey should be able to find holes in this Indianapolis defense but expect McCluster to get more opportunities after having a dominant week 2. Neither player is a particularly good start because both of their roles after last are subject to change.
