The Detroit Tigers will only have tomorrow if they can win Game 4 of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants which is set to start at 8 p.m. ET.
On the mound for the Tigers will be Max Scherzer . A strikeout machine.
You can't fault Tigers' pitching in this series as the offense has not been able to do anything in the past two games.
The Tigers' pitching has only given up four runs total in Games 2 and 3. The only game they were really hurt in was, ironically, when Justin Verlander was on the mound.
The Giants have come through big when it matters most. They are unforgiving on offense.
Hunter Pence came to score after a walk in Game 3 as Anibal Sanchez lost control in that second inning where he gave up two runs which cost him the game.
Scherzer has recorded 18 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched. He is posting a 0.82 ERA in these two starts.
Quentin Berry and Andy Dirks will have to step it up if they are going to give the Tigers a chance to win. In Game 3, they combined for an 0-6 night with three strikeouts, eight runners left on base and a walk.
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit.
