If there is anybody currently unhappy with his situation in Tennessee it is tight end Jared Cook, who was rumored to requestiing a trade from the Titans.
As reported by Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Cook requested a trade before the NFL's deadline, which has now been moved to Thursday following the current storm Sandy, in the northeast.
Are the Titans willing to comply with Cook's desire?
Absolutely not!
There have too much to lose.
Though he feels they have not been using him appropriately on offense, the Titans would lose a potential draft pick if at the end of the season he does not resign as this is his last year under contract with the team.
So far in 2012, Cook has 28 catches with 373 yards receiving, placing him second on the team in both categories.
As Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com mentioned, the Titans are still competing of the AFC South despite being 3-5 in the season. They still have hope in getting a playoff berth.
The Titans have two out of their last three games and could use Cook on the field for their Week 9 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
This is what the AFC South division looks like after Week 8.
