NBA Schedule 2012 Season Opener Start Times for Heat vs. Celtics, Lakers vs. Mavericks and Wizards vs. Cavaliers

Oct 30, 2012 05:25 PM EDT

The NBA 2012-2013 season is set to begin with some intriguing matchups as the Miami Heat take the floor against their Eastern Conference rival Boston Celtics. Here is the schedule and time for the rest of the matchups.

First teams up will be the Washington Wizards versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Let's be honest, these are not two teams that everybody is dying to see, but they have some good youngsters in their squads, beginning with the Cavs in possession of the 2011-2012 Rookie of the Year, Kyrie Irving.

They got him some company with their first round pick Bradley Beal. During the regular season, in eight preseason games he scored an average of just over 11 points.

Though not expected to compete, the Cavaliers should be a fun team to watch this year.

Before this matchup concludes, the Heat will be in action as they will host the Celtics for their first meeting following their exciting seven-game Eastern Conference Finals series.

Immediately beginning the season, Ray Allen gets to face his old team as he will be sporting a Heat jersey. He will be joined by Rashard Lewis as the Heat look to terrorize teams with the three-point ball as they sport one of the shortest lineups in the league without a true center in the post.

RIght before this meeting concludes, NBA will be in action out west as the Los Angeles Lakers face the Dallas Mavericks for Western Coference matchup.

Kobe Bryant has new teammates as Steve Nash will take care of the point and Dwight Howard was convinced to take his game to L.A.
