The new look Houston Rockets will face the Pistons in Detroit as they get ready to set off their 2012-2013 season at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Jeremy Lin will be in action with his new shooting guard James Harden. If anybody was wondering how long the two will be playing together, then the Rockets answered the question by signing Harden for a five-year $80 million deal.
Harden takes his playoff experience to Houston where he will be the new leader and Lin's beyond the arc.
The two have not had much time to gel so they will have to wing it for the most part as Harden was dealt on Saturday from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Rockets.
"This is definitely different," said Harden. "But it's something that we have to learn to deal with. This is a business and everything happens for a reason. I'm going to just to play hard, try to play hard and do whatever it takes to win."
The Pistons will have their first round pick Andre Dummond, 9th overall in the 2012 draft pick, on the floor and they are looking forward to a new season of growing and learning.
