The Falcons come into this game after beating 3 out of the 4 teams in the NFC East. Now the Texans are turning their attention to a Houston Texans team that might get an offensive boost with the return of Arian Foster. Foster is a game time decision for this game which should make it difficult for the Falcons to plan for this Houston rushing attack. The Falcons will rely on Julio Jones to carry this offense to victory.
Key Factors:
JJ Watt versus the Falcons offensive line:
The Falcons offensive line has protected Matt Ryan better than in 2014 but defenses can still be effective at getting to the Falcons quarterback. JJ Watt is one of the best pass rushers (if not the best) the NFL has to offer so Jake Matthews and this Falcons offensive line will have a huge task in stopping one of the highest paid players in the NFL today.
Will Ryan Mallett be the answer for the Houston Texans?
Mallett will need to be more productive with his starting role than he has been so far this season. Mallett's accuracy is questionable to say the least; he has struggled to hit his top targets in the passing game. Mallett will need to play a lot better than he has to keep his starting spot.
