Seattle Seahawks Rumors: Marshawn Lynch Out With Injury, Thomas Rawls Fantasy Start Option For Monday Week 4

Oct 04, 2015 06:51 PM EDT

The Seattle Seahawks will be without Marshawn Lynch on Monday night against the Lions and that makes Thomas Rawls a start option for fantasy football owners in Week 4.

Lynch has been dealing with a hamstring injury over the past week and his status was up in the air through the week after getting an MRI. According to the Seattle Times, Lynch will be out on Monday with a hamstring injury and his status for next week will be evaluated in practice before the team makes a decision.

Rawls stepped in last week when Lynch had to leave the game against the Chicago Bears and he made the most of his chance to play. Rawls had over 100 yards in the game against the Bears and he is the better start option for the team over Fred Jackson. Rawls is a rookie and he will get the start for Lynch and that comes after he put up 104 yards rushing against the Bears in Week 3 coming in for Lynch.

Lynch has been one of the most consistent running backs in the NFL during his career with the Seahawks and this will only be the second game that he has missed during his time with the team. Lynch had over 1300 yards last season and he has been off to a slow start this year and has not scored a rushing touchdown yet.
