Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Football: Thomas Rawls Start Pick After Marshawn Lynch Out, Jimmy Graham, Doug Baldwin, Russell Wilson Best Starters Week 4

The Seattle Seahawks will be without Marshawn Lynch on Monday night football in Week 4 and that makes Thomas Rawls the starter and best fantasy football option for the team. The Seahawks are coming in after a dominating win and they will be looking to get things going with Jimmy Graham, Doug Baldwin, Russell Wilson and Rawls on offense.

Lynch was injured last week in the win against the Chicago Bears and after having an MRI he was ruled out for the game on Monday. According to Pro Football Talk, Lynch will be out Week 4 with the hamstring injury and that will pout Rawls in as the starter against the Lions. Rawls is an undrafted rookie and he comes in after replacing Lynch last week when the running back had to leave the game against the Bears with his hamstring injury.

Lynch is off to a slow start this season and he has just 128 yards and has not yet found his way into the endzone. This is only the second game that Lynch will miss in his run with Seattle and he has not missed a game in four years. Rawls comes in after rushing for 104 yards last week and he will try and build on that against a Lions defense that has not been so great against the run this season so far.

Lynch had 1306 yards last season and 13 touchdowns and right now he is well off that pace, but once he returns he will take over again as the starter. The Seahawks hope that the injury does not last too long, but hamstrings can linger for players, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Lynch has had at least 11 touchdowns and 1200 yards in four straight years and if he doesn't get healthy and bounce back soon, that stretch could end. The Seahawks best fantasy options for Monday night football include Jimmy Graham, Doug Baldwin, Russell Wilson and Rawls, as the Lions defense has struggled this season.

The Seahawks also will be without Brandon Mebane and according to Pro Football Talk, Jordan Hill will start in his place for the game. Last week Mebane had to leave the game against the Bears with a groin injury and he now will be out for the matchup against the Lions. Pete Carroll said that Mebane got tied up in one of the pileups and "strained his groin" and there is a chance he could miss a couple games. Hill came in and had a solid game, putting up four tackles and two for losses. Seattle has one of the best run defense units in the league and Mebane is a big part of that.
