Philadelphia Eagles
Demarco Murray/Ryan Mathews/Darren Sproles (Running Backs): Murray had another disappointing week finishing the day with 8 carries for 36 yards. Murray has struggled behind an awful offensive line all season long. Mathews had 5 carries for 20 yards and Sproles did not do much better with his 4 carries for 17 yards and did not catch a single target.
Nelson Agholor/Jordan Matthews (Wide Receivers): Agholor had a decent day on only 3 targets gaining 64 yards through the air and Jordan Matthews struggled mightily reeling in only 3 of his 8 targets for 50 yards.
Washington Redskins
Pierre Garcon (Wide Receiver): Garcon was the hero of this game or the villain depending on who you wanted to win the game. Garcon caught his lone touchdown at the end of regulation to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles. Garcon also hauled in 7 of his 8 targets for 55 yards.
Alfred Morris/Matt Jones/Chris Thompson (Running Backs): Morris looked like the better back today as he dominated the carries. Morris finished the game with 17 carries for 62 yards, catching 2 out of 3 targets for 3 yards. Matt Jones struggled mightily only rushing for 11 yards on 7 carries. The unsung hero of the day was 3rd string running back Chris Thompson who ran for53 yards on 6 carries and caught 2 of 3 targets for 24 yards.
