NFL Fantasy Football Preview Week 5: New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles, Drew Brees, Brandin Cooks, Mark Ingram, CJ Spiller, DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews

New Orleans Saints

Brandin Cooks/Willie Snead (Wide Receiver): Right now Willie Snead has more fantasy points than Brandin Cooks and that frustrates Cooks owners to no end. Snead came on quietly and has managed to fall right under Cooks in the depth chart. Cooks may lead the team in targets but his production is way down compared to some other notable receivers including Doug Baldwin and Snead himself. Cooks and Snead are flex starts at best.

Mark Ingram/CJ Spiller (Running Back): Ingram should find no problem getting into the end zone for this game. The Eagles are pretty awful on defense this year and the Saints looked like their old selves last week. Spiller should have a big day through the air as the passing down running back.

Drew Brees (Quarterback): Brees is still healing but he had a decent game last week and should have a better one against an Eagles defense that is not nearly as good as they were last year. Brees is a low tier QB1 this week.

Philadelphia Eagles

DeMarco Murray/Ryan Mathews/Darren Sproles (Running Back):  Murray, Mathews, and Sproles have the best matchup they have had all season. The Saints defense cannot stop the run and the Eagles should exploit this as much as they can. Murray should get the lion's share of the carries while Mathews backs him up. With New Orleans in town it makes you wonder if Darren Sproles is getting ready to have a big game.

Jordan Matthews/Nelson Agholor (Wide Receiver): Matthews has been a disappointment for fantasy owners however he has a chance to bounce back against this porous Saints secondary. Agholor should play a bigger role but he still makes mistakes like a rookie so his ceiling is limited.
