NFL Fantasy Football Preview for Week 5 Games: Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, Randall Cobb, James Jones, Ty Montgomery, James Starks

St. Louis Rams

Todd Gurley (Running Back): Gurley had an explosive debut and is now effectively on every defense's radar. If you're lucky enough to have stashed Gurley away, congratulations you might have just secured yourself an RB1 who will get a ton of carries. Gurley should look to prove himself by getting into the end zone at Green Bay.

Tavon Austin (Wide Receiver): Austin is a very unpredictable wide receiver however Gurley's impact might be a fantastic thing for him. Defenses are now focused on the Rams rushing attack not the Austin and Foles connection. Austin is the Rams primary wide receiver and should provide some solid fantasy points against this Green Bay defense.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers (Quarterback): Rodgers is the upper echelon of fantasy quarterbacks. There is no one better than him when it comes to putting up points but he will face a ton of pressure this week against the Rams defensive line. It is one of the best defensive lines in football VS the best fantasy quarterback in the NFL. Rodgers should lead his team to victory but should not have a ton of fantasy points this week.

Eddie Lacy (Running Back): The Rams have given up the 7th most points to running backs in the NFL and this should make the Packers rely on Lacy to not only control the clock but to take advantage of some bad defensive matchups. Lacy should have one of his better games on Sunday.

Randall Cobb/James Jones/ Ty Montgomery (Wide Receivers): The Rams have given up the 5th fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and their 3 touchdowns allowed in 4 games. The Rams have faced Wilson, Roethlisberger, and Palmer and have dominated the line of scrimmage. That doesn't bode well for Cobb Jones or Montgomery however Antonio Brown and Jimmy Graham had pretty decent games against them so this could be a big week for Randall Cobb if his shoulder allows him to play productively. Jones will either come back down to earth and Cobb will explode or both receivers will have relatively quiet days.
