The Indiana Pacers will try to make it to straight victories as they go into Charlotte to face the Bobcats at 7 p.m. ET.
For the Bobcats it seems really easy, win more than seven games this season and better on a 7-win 2011-2012 campaign.
They got some help in the draft and they have a new head coach in Mike Dunlap. Michael Jordan hopes this year is less embarrassing and things he made the right moves.
"Last year we went through the process of stripping down the organization and trying to build that back up," Jordan said. "And this is another step toward that. Getting a young coach who understands our vision about what type of team we want to be."
The added Ben Gordon, Ramon Sessions and took Michael Kidd-Glichrist 2nd overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. Just like Jordan said, these are small pieces that can only work if everybody plays together.
"I want to establish a culture within in this organization so that when you plug a guy in, the culture is sitting there and no one guy is bigger than that culture. You either fit in or you don't fit in."
They will face a Pacer team that is fresh of their first victory of the year after defeating the Toronto Raptors in dramactic fashion late in the game.
David West led the team in scoring while Roy Hibbert and Paul George each added 14 points each.
