The USC Trojans will attempt to avoid a back-to-back loss when they host the No. 4 Oregon Ducks Saturday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
With two losses, the Trojans (6-2, 4-2) find themselves coming off a 39-36 loss at Arizona.
USC has fallen out of the title picture, but Saturday's game against Oregon could be a big boost to its chances to win the Pac-12 South. At 4-2 in conference play, USC currently has a narrow lead in the division.
Though their defense will be challenged, USC will look to their offense to give them the boost they need. USC sophomore receiver Marqise Lee set a Pac-12 record last week with 345 recieving yards against Arizona and now has 1,129 yards on the season. Leading rusher Silas Redd has just 60 combined rushing yards over his last two games and he will now face an Oregon defense which allows just 3.7 yards per rush attempt.
Meanwhile, the Ducks are coming off a 70-14 win against Colorado and are averaging 53.4 points per game.
Led by Kenjon Barner and De'Anthony Thomas, the Ducks have one of the best rushing offenses in the country. Oregon is averaging 330.6 rushing yards per game, good for third best. Barner has rushed for 974 yards on the season, while Thomas is averaging 8.6 yards per attempt.
