Fantasy Football Recap Week 5: Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals, Andy Dalton, Giovani Bernard, Russell Wilson, AJ Green, Jimmy Graham, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse

Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson (Quarterback): Wilson has struggled behind this offensive line however has found a way to make plays week in and week out. This week was no exception but the Seahawks in the end could not get the job done. Wilson finished the game completing 15 of his 23 attempts for 213 yards, a touchdown, and a costly interception. He also ran the ball 3 times for 21 yards.

Thomas Rawls (Running Back): Rawls struggled last week against this Lions defense however this week he finally broke out and earned the nickname mini Beast Mode. Rawls had 23 carries for 169 yards and a touchdown. If Marshawn Lynch cannot play next week expect little beast more to go off.

Doug Baldwin/Jermaine Kearse (Wide Receivers): Baldwin and Kearse had great games even while only having 3 targets. Baldwin caught all 3 of his targets for 70 yards while Kearse found the end zone early hauling in 2 out of 3 targets for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Jimmy Graham (Tight End): Graham was not a factor in the Seahawks loss and that might be the issue. The Seahawks traded their best offensive lineman for Graham and yet he cannot seem to mesh with this offense. Graham finished his day hauling in 3 of his 5 targets for 30 yards.

Cincinnati Bengals

AJ Green/Marvin Jones/Mohamed Sanu (Wide Receiver): Green had the best day out of these wide receivers even though he faced Richard Sherman for a good portion of the game. Green ended his day catching 6 of 8 targets for 78 yards. Jones was the second target but even he had trouble getting open against the Legion of Boom. Jones gained 61 yards and hauled in 5 out of 8 receptions. Sanu had the better day in coverage racking up 69 yards and catching all of his targets.

Giovani Bernard/Jeremy Hill (Running Back): Hill disappointed fantasy owners again with a horrific outing against the Seahawks. Sure the Seahawks defensive line played great run defense at the line but his counterpart Bernard was able to find a ton of space to make plays. Hill ended the day with 8 carries for 13 yards and caught 1 out of his 2 targets for 12 yards. Bernard on the other hand had 15 carries, gained 80 yards, and hauled in 5 out of 8 catches for 21 yards. Bernard is the true passing down back and one of the best weapons the Bengals cannot afford to take off the field when their behind.

Tyler Eifert (Tight End): Eifert made up for a quiet game last week with some huge receiving totals in week 5. Eifert hauled in 8 of his 12 targets for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Legion of Boom blanketed AJ Green leaving Eifert as Dalton's second option.
