Kansas City Chiefs
Charcandrick West/De'Anthony Thomas/Knile Davis (Running Backs): Fantasy owners everywhere are intrigued by how exactly Andy Reid will handle the loss of Jamaal Charles. Four different outcomes may occur. (1) West dominates the rushing touches and proves to be a suitable replacement for Charles. (2) Davis, Charles's primary backup for a couple of seasons, takes on the full responsibility of handling a starting running back workload. (3) Thomas becomes the Lance Dunbar for the Chiefs catching passes in space to gain yards but also taking handoffs from Alex Smith. This would allow Andy Reid to fully utilize Thomas's versatility as well as his speed. (4) They are all underwhelming and there is no way to replace Charles's production. Fantasy owners the choice is yours because your guess is as good as mine; I am leaning towards Thomas being the surprise sleeper here.
Jeremy Maclin (Wide Receiver): Maclin should get peppered with targets all day long. No Charles means Alex Smith will have to step up and get this passing game going. Maclin is a strong WR2 this week.
Travis Kelce (Tight End): Kelce should also see some benefits from Charles being out as the passing game should control what the Chiefs do on offense. Kelce is not likely to have another fantasy dud against the Vikings.
Minnesota Vikings
Adrian Peterson (Running Back): Peterson is facing a stiff run defense that should give him some trouble but it's Adrian Peterson, you will get production regardless. Peterson is pretty much an RB1 every week now that he is in mid-season form.
Mike Wallace (Wide Receiver): Wallace has been dealing with a knee injury for the past few days however he is the most productive Vikings wide receiver. Wallace should have a great matchup against the Chiefs they have allowed the most points to fantasy receivers this season.
