Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Playoffs NLCS Game Streaming

The Chicago Cubs and New York Mets are playing live on the NLCS MLB playoffs schedule on Sunday night and the game is on TV from TBS. The Mets lead the series 1-0 after winning Game 1 and Game 2 will have Jake Arrieta against Noah Syndergaard as the Cubbies try and tie things up at Citi Field.

The Mets come in after winning Game 1 with a strong start from Matt Harvey and the team won the game 4-2 and now could go up 2-0 with a win Sunday. Arietta has been lights out for most of the season and his second half of the season was historic. Arrieta has been great on the road this season and he has won 13 games in a row overall and has gone 2-0 in the playoffs. Arietta has been 12-0 on the road since back in May in the regular season and he previously won against the Mets in July.

Arietta wom against the Mets with seven strikeouts in eight inning in that game and he has gone 2-0 over his last four games against New York. Daniel Murphy has been huge for the Mets in the playoffs and he hit a solo home run on Saturday in Game 1 and that helped the team win to take a 1-0 series lead. Murphy has been raking in the postseason and he has home runs in three straight games and is hitting .320 during the playoffs so far.

Syndergaard faced off against Arietta this season in Chicago and now he will get another chance to face the team. Syndergaard has pitched well at Citi Field and he comes in with a 7-2 record and 2.46 ERA over his 12 starts at the stadium. Matt Harvey had a great start for the Mets on Saturday, allowing two runs and four hits in seven innings of work. Travis d'Arnaud had a home run and now the Mets have the chance to to take a commanding lead in the series.

The Cubs power hitting lineup was mostly quieted by Harvey and now players like Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber, Javier Baez and Jorge Soler will try and rebound in Game 2. Addison Russell is out of this series after dealing with a hamstring injury and Baez took his place in Game 1. The Mets are keeping David Wright in the lineup despite his tough hitting stats in the playoffs and he comes in after making some fine defensive plays in Game 1. Terry Collins said that Harvey is in line to start Game 5 if needed after how many pitches he threw on Saturday.
