Following their 107-100 victory over the Toronto Raptors, the Brooklyn Nets will try to deliver an encore performance when they host the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves to the Barclays Center at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Nets center Brook Lopez led the team with 27 points and point guard Deron Williams scored 19 points with nine assists. Six-time All-Star Joe Johnson had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists in his Nets debut.

Nets forward Gerald Wallace will be sidelined in Monday's game because of a sprained left ankle.

Nets head coach Avery Johnson said Wallace's injury is characterized as day-to-day.

"He's just gonna continue to get treatment on his ankle," Johnson said. "Obviously, his X-rays were negative, and that was great. So (trainer) Tim (Walsh) is gonna continue to treat him. He's feeling a little bit better, but not good enough to play tonight."

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have gotten off to an uneven start, beating Sacramento 92-80 in Friday's season opener before falling 105-86 in Toronto on Sunday, all while Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio have been sidelined recovering from injury.

The status of Minnesota guard J.J. Barea, who had a team-leading 21 points in the win over Sacramento, is unclear for this game. Barea was diagnosed with concussion-like symptoms Sunday after being accidentally kicked in the head.
