Monday Night Football for Week 9 will feature two teams who are in desperate need of a win when the Philadelphia Eagles visit the New Orleans Saints at 8:20 p.m. ET.
At 2-5 the Saints come into this game desperately looking to hold on to any hope of making the playoffs in the crowded NFC.
The biggest problem for the Saints have been their defense, which have allowed 400-plus yards on the defensive end in seven consecutive games. The defense ranks 30th against the pass and 31st against the run.
With a victory tonight, the Saints will improve to a 3-5 record with a chance to make a playoff run if they manage to reach 6-10.
On the other side of the field, the 3-4 Eagles want to improve to 4-4 with a victory tonight.
The Eagles are tied for 29th in the league in points per game ranking 15th in passing and 10th in rushing yards per game.
